Welcome to the 4th Annual Santosha retreat! Letting Go and Contentment are the topics to be explored in this year’s event. What can you expect this year? This year we are going to investigate lightening our load. What old stories do we hold on to? What illusions impact our thinking? How can we uncouple those box cars filled with old ideas and give more energy to our train?

Morning meditations, daily yoga practices, discourse and discussion, hiking, singing, and art are included in the investigation of discovering what may be holding you back from experiencing contentment and giving you a path to letting go.

These annual retreats are designed to help us discover new aspects of contentment, how to get there and to practice modes of self care through yoga, breath work and meditation. Another critical component of self-care is the beautiful surroundings, wonderful companionship and delicious food offered by the Land of Medicine Buddha center.

Three yoga classes, group discussions and exploration will be balanced with time to hike, rest and to schedule a massage. (Massages are arranged directly with LMB- Please call 831-462-8383 to schedule in advance.)

Kyczy Hawk E-RYT 500 is a yoga teacher and author who holds these retreats once a year. She specializes in yoga for people in recovery using this healing technology to help people embody their recovery, releasing the negative energy of past traumatic experiences. She is the author of “Yoga and The Twelve Step Path”, “Life in Bite Sized Morsels” and recently released “Yogic Tools For Recovery; A Guide For Working The Steps.” Join her in San Jose at the Y12SR classes Fridays 7 – 9pm at Willow Glen Yoga.
