A Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

Dear Friends of Mindfulness,
You are invited to a weekend Mindfulness Meditation retreat Feb. 28 – March 1, 2020. This is a wonderful way
to begin your New Year and deepen your mindfulness practice. The retreat will take place in the stillness of a
beautiful redwood forest. This retreat will offer silent periods of sitting and walking meditation that are
embedded with the spirit of loving-kindness. These teachings and practices will emphasize quieting the mind,
opening the heart, and developing wisdom and compassion. Space is limited so please register ASAP.
WHEN: Feb. 28 – March 1, 2020. Registration begins at 4:00 pm on Friday Feb. 28. Dinner is served at 6:00
pm and the first sitting is at 7:30 pm. The retreat will end after lunch on Sunday, by 2:00 pm.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
There is a $50 nonrefundable cancellation fee for cancellations prior to December 18, 2018. There are no
refunds after Jan. 18, 2020.

TEACHER
Bob Stahl, PhD, has founded eight Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programs in medical centers in the SF
Bay Area and is currently offering programs at Dominican Hospital and El Camino Hospitals in Los Gatos and
Mt. View, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Gatos. Dr. Stahl serves as a Senior Teacher for Oasis Institute
for Mindfulness-Based Professional Education and Training at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health
Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Bob is coauthor of 5 books: A
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook, Living With Your Heart Wide Open, Calming the Rush of
Panic, A Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook for Anxiety, and MBSR Everyday. Bob is the guiding
teacher at Insight Santa Cruz and a visiting teacher at Spirit Rock.
