Re: 2012-California Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report (CCR)
This Consumer Confidence Report is a document prepared to summarize and familiarize you with the drinking water testing requirements and current interpretations of regulatory requirements that the Land of Medicine Buddha Water System is required to meet during each year of drinking water distribution.
The Land of Medicine Buddha Water System is regulated by the Santa Cruz County Department of Environmental Health, Drinking Water Department of Health Services. Our water system is operated with the assistance of Water Sampling Services. Water Sampling Services (WSS) is certified by the State of California for water system operation. WSS provides the Land of Medicine Buddha Water System with water sampling and direct oversight of laboratory analyses. All laboratory analyses are performed by State Approved Drinking Water Laboratories.
The Land of Medicine Buddha Water System is routinely tested for both Total Coliform and E. coli bacteria. In addition to bacteriological monitoring, all other chemical analyses were performed in accordance with our sampling and analysis plan. Land of Medicine Buddha Water System receives ongoing guidance from the Santa Cruz County Department of Environmental Health, Drinking Water Department of Health Services to ensure that all testing requirements are in accordance with the State of California Safe Drinking Water Act. It is the goal of the Land of Medicine Buddha Water System to meet these requirements and continue to supply the Land of Medicine Buddha with drinking water meeting all established water quality standards.
We are pleased to report that our water system has again remained in full compliance for the entire 2012 year. All required testing was performed in accordance with the center’s sampling and analysis plan and all test results were in compliance with State of California Water Quality Standards.
This Consumer Confidence Report contains a summary of water test results and information about the requirements Community Water Systems are required to comply with. This letter is intended to summarize the important information that applies to our system.
